PVC-U - The Facts
A significant proportion
of heat is lost through single-glazed windows, particularly old or ill-fitting
frames. Replacing them with double glazing means lower fuel bills, fewer
draughts and better noise reduction.
However the main benefits of PVC-U are low maintenance and high durability,
unlike wooden frames which usually require frequent repainting.
In addition modern PVC-U frames have a smooth, consistent and reliable
operation and are extremely thermally efficient.
Mahogany - White - or Both?
Our PVC-U frames are available in a choice of mahogany effect or white
finish. Alternatively you could have a mahogany finish on the outside
and a white finish on the inside.
This gives a brighter, roomier feel to the interior whilst retaining the
rich deep colour on the outside.
